"The Changing Role of Management"

In a time characterized by political and technological change, leaders in politics, business, and society must increasingly concentrate on the only thing that remains constant: perpetual change. What are the responsibilities of these decision-makers when viewed against the backdrop of globalization? How do decision-makers deal with the possibilities and risks that these changes bring? Do we need a new type of leader? Do national and societal interests influence leaders? Is there still a societal consensus on values? How do and how can profits and ethics co-exist?

These urgent and prevailing questions were addressed by April's Student Forum under the general title: "The Changing Role of Management".

The Global Panel - Student Forum looked at and discussed various aspects of leadership and responsibility in our society and suggested possible future remedies.
