On 23rd November, Madeleine Albright received the Hanno R. Ellenbogen Award for her lifelong commitment to international public service. Secretary Albright passed on the financial portion of the award (150.000 CZK) to the outstanding journalist, Petra Procházková in recognition of her work in Chechnya.

Ms. Procházková in turn presented secreatry Albright with a photograph of wartorn Grozny by Iva Zimová, and a copy of her recent book, 'The Aluminium Queen'. During her speech, Procházková told the audience that the prize money would go to the children\'s home that she herself had set up in Grozny during her time there.
