Discussions focused on different approaches to educational policy in the United States and the European Union (specifically in France and Germany). The introductory speech was presented by Ambassador Dr. Immo Stabreit who gave a report of his experiences as a Fellow at Duke University, North Carolina, in 2003. Afterwards a wide range of views and proposals were discussed by guests from New Zealand, Russia, Singapore and Germany.
